Limon Softball Fields
Due to a westward forecast for the balloon landings, the launch site has been moved to the alternate in Limon, CO. Note that the launch location is approximately 70 miles north-east of the conference location.

The Limon Softball Complete is 1 mile south of Limon on CO-71. The complete is on the west side of the highway. Parking will be available immediately as you exit the highway.
The filling and launch area will be on the grassy field immediately to the west of the parking.
Note for Pico Pilots:
The City of Limon will be opening a garage space where pico balloons can be inflated.

Land Owner Protocol
EOSS has historically landed over 350 HAB balloons on farmland in eastern Colorado. We have made it our policy to respectfully ask landowners to allow us to walk out on their property to recover our payloads. If your team requires help locating landowners, please contact any EOSS member for advice. Simply knock on doors. Please advise our team lead the name of the landowner who provided permission
Our team lead for this adventure is Mike Pappas, W9CN, or by radio (imagine that) on 446.100 MHz simplex.
We appreciate your cooperation to continue to support these landowner relationships built over 32 years of flying HAB in Colorado. Also, please no drones as they tend to unnerve the dairy cattle.
