Project: Traveler to Host 2025 Great Plains Super Launch in Hutchinson, KS

Project: Traveler is proud to sponsor the 2025 Great Plains Super Launch, set to take place from June 12th to 14th, 2025, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Whether you’re a seasoned attendee or a curious newcomer, this event offers something for everyone. Mark your calendar and join us for a weekend of discovery, collaboration, and fun!
The symposium will be held on Friday, June 13th, 2025, at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. The venue’s accessible location offers the perfect setting for attendees to immerse themselves in the latest advancements in High Altitude Ballooning (HAB) technology, with a series of captivating sessions and presentations. Besides expert talks, the event will feature valuable networking opportunities for enthusiasts and professionals alike.
In addition to the symposium, a pre-conference tour will be available on June 12th for those eager to explore regional landmarks, followed by dinner at a local eatery.
To round out the weekend, we will have a mass balloon launch on Saturday, June 14th . This will be a chance to witness science in the making. This public launch will provide a unique opportunity to experience the process of launching high altitude balloons, each carrying scientific experiments, radios, and other payloads.
